Pilates Classes September -October 2021

Autumn is in the air, with a little chill, more dew, and the bracken beginning to turn in places.
Our thoughts turn to renewal, with a new school year and back to work after a summer break for many.
So, time to consider our bodies and book for Pilates classes!
We are continuing to be cautious about the numbers of people in the studio with regards the Covid pandemic, so we are offering some classes on Zoom only, some Hybrid, and some in the Studio only. The Hybrid classes allow for a maximum of 5 people in the studio whilst the rest can watch from home, with the instructor able to see, interact and correct them from the large screen in the studio.
We ask those who are able to use the internet and Zoom to continue to do so, allowing space for people who do not have this facility to attend the studio.
We are adding a new machine to our Pilates Reformers, so are offering classes of 5 people, well spaced in 2 rooms, with the instructor going between the two.
If you are interested in starting a Beginners Mat Pilates class, we like you to attend a 1:1 with a Physio/Pilates instructor beforehand in order to discuss your individual needs and give some personal instruction to start you off. Please phone reception to book this prior to the first class.
As we currently have a shortage of Physiotherapists at Viney Hall, Pip and Sarah are reducing the number of classes they are teaching to allow them to see patients for physiotherapy. Hopefully we will be able to get more staff soon to relieve the pressure a little.
Veronica is stepping up massively, taking on mat and reformer classes, and Jan is teaching on Zoom from home.
Please be patient with us still – as you have been so far! We greatly appreciate your support and loyalty as we continue to build the business up again following the lockdown periods.
We want to continue to be vigilant and cautious with regard to prevention of spread of Covid, so ask that mask wearing, handwashing, sanitiser, social distancing, and use of your own mats and cushions continues.
Bookings are now open online or by phoning reception which is manned every morning and Monday and Wednesday afternoons.
Please choose your class from the timetable and book early to reserve your place.
If there is not a suitable class for you, please let us know. We are very happy to add more classes if there is demand. Remember, we can arrange 1:1, 2:1, 3:1 sessions for family groups or friends. Our couples pilates on the reformers is very popular. We can arrange taster sessions too – just let us know what you want and we will do our best!
