Carolyn Thomas

I have been practicing yoga for approximately 20 years. In that time, I realised several health and lifestyle benefits which I wanted to be able to share with others. I completed a year-long foundation course with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and followed that with the three-year BWY teaching diploma. I have been teaching classes in and around the Forest of Dean since 2007. It is so rewarding to watch students develop over time, finding a yoga style that suits them, that can be used to support their lives. Yoga has taught me the benefits of slowing down, being more mindful and enjoying a more balanced, peaceful life.
In 2016 I retired from a stressful NHS management role to follow my passion sharing my love of yoga with even more students who wish to explore its benefits.
