The yoga classes on Friday mornings are suitable for beginners and intermediates and are a wonderful way to end the week and prepare for the weekend.
We have plenty of pilates classes to suit all levels and abilities, daytime, evening times.
Our two HIT (High Intensity Interval Training) pilates classes are popular, hard work and fun. These are suitable for anyone wishing to get fit perhaps for a skiing holiday, or for runners, cyclists or other sports people wishing to raise their game.
There are two pilates classes suitable for beginners and improvers. One on Tuesday evenings at ten to six, and the other on Friday lunchtimes at ten past twelve.
We require all beginners and people who have not done pilates here at Viney Hall before to have a 1:1 session with a physiotherapist/pilates instructor prior to joining the class. This session will cost £35 and is really worth it. The physio will assess your needs and give you useful advice relevant to you as an individual, as well as teach you the pilates basics required in order to progress in the class. Those who have done some pilates before elsewhere may find quite a lot of differences in our approach, and the therapist will be able to advise on a suitable level class. It is a great opportunity to look at your particular aches and pains and postural issues, giving you useful pointers to aid existing problems and to avoid future ones.
The other advantage of the 1:1 session is that the instructor will then know each person in the class, and be able to taylor the class accordingly.
Clients currently attending Jo’s 7pm Tuesday class will note that this class will no longer exist as such, as Jo returns to the ski slopes for the winter season. Pip will be taking a beginners class at 17.50, so some may wish to stay at this level. Others may like to progress to intermediate level and come earlier or later on the same evening, or change to another day.
To book classes please go to our classes page to do so online, or phone 01594 516810 to book with a receptionist.
Priority will be given to people already attending a class, but only until the end of this week, 21st October. After this date, booking is open to all, and people wishing to change classes can do so if there is space.
Please talk to us to discuss your needs, and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
